The DCS334B jig saw must be immediately compared to the DCS331B before purchase. While there are subtle differences (this drill is smaller and weighs slightly less), the tools operate nearly identically. However, the DCS334B (this one) uses a brushless motor, and the DCS331B does not. People who use tools regularly or professionally swear by brushless motors for their efficiency and long lives.
Otherwise, the tools largely operate the same. Again, subtle differences are there, but the ability to easily cut at 15-, 30-, and 45-degree angles, a keyless blade change, integrated dust blower for clean workspaces, and variable speed trigger grip are all there on this model, too.
