Millions of Americans grinding it out on the job or even in school have relied on a good Cup of Joe for years to make it through the course of a day. While some go through K-Cups at home, and others venture to McDonald's or some other fast-food spot for coffee with a classic breakfast biscuit, countless people opt to go to a restaurant that specializes in coffee. And when it comes to this specialty, Starbucks and now Dunkin’ are the biggest companies in the US.
While Starbucks remains supreme in terms of being the largest coffee chain in the world, Dunkin’ has made remarkable strides in being Starbucks’ biggest competition. In an effort to help convert coffee drinkers and help ensure that “America Runs on Dunkin'” in an even more impactful way, Dunkin' just released a 48-ounce coffee bucket in limited stores.
Dunkin’ Releases 48-Ounce Beverage Buckets with a Catch
The new 48-ounce buckets are actually buckets with a specialized lid and straw. However, the drinks inside aren’t exactly made-to-order. In fact, they are prefilled with either iced coffee or a refresher-style beverage. However, it does look like you can customize the bucket to your liking with creams, sugar, and other items. Additionally, if you like hot coffee, the 48-ounce beverage isn’t ideal for you, as the plastic buckets currently only allow for iced coffee.
In terms of price, based on feedback from social media users, it appears the iced coffee bucket runs around $8.89, and the refresher option costs about $9.49.
Where to Find Dunkin’s 48-Ounce Bucket?
Sorry to disappoint, but this new product is not available nationwide. Dunkin’s bucket is only available at a few stores across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. According to The Independent, buckets are allegedly being sold at the following locations:
- 317 N Pearl St - Brockton, MA 02301
- 137 Teaticket Hwy - Falmouth, MA
- 250 South Main Street - Uxbridge, MA 01569
- 815 S Main St - Bellingham, MA 02019
- 175 University Dr. - Amherst, MA 01002
- 214 N Beacon St. - Bright, MA 02135
- 359 S Front St - New Bedford, MA 02740
- 179 Brighton Ave - Allston, MA 02134
- 195 Main St - Wilmington, MA 01887
- 2 Dover Rd - Durham, New Hampshire 03824
- 56 Concord Rd - Lee, New Hampshire 03861
- 75 Main St (inside the University of New Hampshire) - Durham, New Hampshire 03824
Now, as a daily coffee drinker myself, I have to admit, I’m not sure I’d be up for 48 ounces of coffee in a day. That’s a ton of caffeine. Although, I have to wonder if my productivity in 24 hours would be through the roof. Check out what others are saying about Dunkin’s new bucket over on X (formerly Twitter).
