Four of Team USA’s star athletes have named their go-to Starbucks order, for those looking for something to put a little extra pep in their step.
Team USA Loves Caffeine As Much As You Do
Shortly after Starbucks debuted its limited-time menu inspired by the Winter Olympics, figure skater Amber Glenn, bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor, and Paralympian Nordic skiers Oksana Masters and Aaron Pike each named their go-to orders at the chain.
Glenn, the three-time U.S. National Champion figure skater renowned for her artistry on the ice and her advocacy for diversity within the sport off the rink, favors a tall Iced Caramel Macchiato with nonfat milk and an added shot of espresso. Five-time Olympic medalist Meyers, who is the most-decorated Black athlete at the 2026 Winter Olympics, prefers something a bit more savory: a Grande Pistachio Latte with oat milk.
Paralympian Nordic Skiers Opt for Comparitively Simple Drinks
As for the Nordic skiers, they don’t need anything fancy to keep them warm. Masters, the most decorated U.S. Winter Paralympian of all time, plumps for a Grande Cappuccina with extra foam and a staggering two added shots of espresso to prepare for her cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions. Seven-time Paralympian Pike, meanwhile, opts for a Grande Americano with a (comparatively demur) single added shot of espresso.
To celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games, Starbucks introduced a brand-new secret beverage to menus for a limited time: the Iced Brown Sugar Honey Americano. Starbucks suggests that “customers can enjoy the beverage inspired by America’s coffee legacy by ordering the below customization: Grande Iced Americano, Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast” with two pumps of honey syrup, Brown Sugar Cold Foam, and a dash of cinnamon.
