Kayla Nicole launched a new podcast that immediately made headlines thanks to her previous relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce.
The debut episode of her new podcast, The Pre-Game, saw the host answering a variety of questions from fans. She covered which perfume she wears to how many men regularly slide into her direct messages on social media.
Eventually she got to a question about ex-boyfriends that made her claim she "should've screened these questions" beforehand. "Has dating someone who is in the public eye altered the way you move in relationships now?" she said, reading the question.
While she never mentioned Kelce, Nicole left little doubt who she was talking about when she answered "absolutely" and claimed fans "won't ever see me with a man ever again until I'm married with kids."
Kelce and Nicole were in an on-and-off relationship for five years starting in 2017. During the episode of her podcast, the host revealed the change in her dating life is to "protect" both her and her partner.
"I don't think that I ever want to publicly date another man until I am absolutely sure that they are my long-term person," she said. "I want to protect the things that mean most to me, and sometimes when you're a little too open and you're a little too transparent, you open yourself up to a world of opinion, a world of entitlement. People want answers. People think that you owe them an explanation about every single thing in your relationship, every up and down and happy or sad moment."
Nicole revealed she is dating and "hiding."
