There’s no denying the star power of Cardi B. The Grammy-winning femcee has been a force in the music arena since her smash hit “Bodak Yellow” debuted in 2017, and nearly ten years later, she’s still at the top of her game. Fast forward to October 2026, and after the release of her sophomore album “Am I the Drama?” in 2025 and her massively successful tour, the rapper stopped by NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series.

While there are a lot of takeaways from her Tiny Desk appearance, by and large all of them being good, it was during her performance of her song “ErrTime” that may come as a slight surprise. After her “feud” with fellow rapper Latto, she made a change to the song that now gives props to this one gorgeous and very famous singer. Or at least that’s what it sounds like.

To give a brief recap, back in September 2025, a leaked audio surfaced of Cardi B. “going off” about Ice Spice and her manager. In the conversation, Cardi B. inadvertently took aim at Latto, which Cardi B. has since apologized for. However, when it appeared as if Latto didn’t accept the apology, the two settled into a subtle and minor rivalry instead.

This all became a bigger deal largely because of the song “ErrTime.” In the original recording of the track, because Cardi B. and Latto were friends (friendly at the least), Cardi B. raps, “Bad yellow b*tch, look like Latto in this m*therf*cker.” Furthermore, Latto even hopped on a remix of the track. However, after the fallout between the two women, Cardi B. stopped saying Latto’s name while performing the song. That brings us to the Tiny Desk concert that just became available to watch.

During Cardi B.’s noteworthy set, she performs “ErrTime.” When it comes time for her to state the original lyrics, she instead recites, “Bad brown b*tch, look like Kelly in this m*therf*cker.”

Right away, this got people wondering which Kelly Cardi B. was referring to. Well, it sounds like she’s talking about the always-breathtaking Kelly Rowland. The Destiny’s Child star and Grammy-winning solo act has often received compliments on her beauty. Plus, in 2025, Kelly interviewed Cardi B. for her sophomore album, and it appeared the two actually have a friendly relationship, and Kelly offers advice to the rapper from time to time.
