The North Face Offtrail Waterproof Gore-Tex Mid Trail Boot is on sale for $120 at Nordstrom Rack, 40% off its normal $200 price tag. They come in whole and half sizes between 7.5 and 13, nearly all of which are in stock, and in a single colorway—anthracite grey and TNF black.
As their name suggests, these lace-up hiking boots are made with Gore-Tex, so they’re waterproof without trapping every bit of moisture inside. The mid-ankle height offers a nice balance of flexibility and control. The North Face’s Surface Ctrl rubber outsole has chunky 5mm lugs and a forefoot rubber wrap, providing really solid grip in all sorts of conditions.
The rubber sole gives way to a synthetic and textile upper and a textile lining, more breathable and flexible materials that make for a comfortable fit. A pull tab on the back ankle makes it easy to pull this boot on, and the orange arrow detailing on the bottom offers a welcome pop of color in an unexpected place.
