For millions of people, YouTube has become their go-to option for movies and television viewing. Now, the company has announced that two massive new channels are being added to the platform. One of the additions is coming at exactly the right time, as it will provide fans with a way to watch 104 FIFA World Cup matches.
YouTube Finally Adds Fox One to Its Premium Lineup Just in Time for the World Cup
The YouTube blog revealed massive news about the platform's programming as two new channels have been announced. It notes that Fox One is now available on YouTube for $19.99 per month. For that price, users will gain access to Fox local and national programming. The post notes that the Fox One bundle will allow users to watch the 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 games that Fox will carry during the biggest sports event in the world.
As Fox's website notes, the Fox One bundle will give subscribers a lot more to watch than World Cup games. Users will also gain access to Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather, and Fox Deportes. It also includes an immense amount of other sports programming, including Fox Sports' FS1, FS2, and the Big Ten Network.
Peacock Premium Plus Brings Blockbuster Movies and Hit TV Shows Directly to YouTube
The same YouTube blog post also states that Peacock Premium Plus will "soon" be available on YouTube for $16.99 a month. While the exact timing of that arrival is unclear, there is no doubt about what will be available to subscribers once it does.
Peacock is the streaming service that brings together content produced and owned by NBCUniversal, including upcoming and iconic movies. As a Business Insider article notes, it also includes NBC, Bravo, Dateline 24/7, NBC News Now, NBC Sports Now, ION, and ION Mystery programming. Thanks to the inclusion of NBC, series like the One Chicago franchise, Saturday Night Live, Law & Order: SVU, and Happy's Place are all available to stream on Peacock.
In addition to content from NBCUniversal's movie slate, networks, and cable channels, Peacock has also produced some beloved original content. Some of the service's most notable originals include The Traitors, The Day of the Jackal, Ted, The Paper, The 'Burbs, All Her Fault, Twisted Metal, Poker Face, Bel-Air, and Dr. Death.
