Popular YouTuber and social media influencer Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami, and there's a TikTok video that captures the arrest.
The video is captioned, "Bro really get (sic) arrested," and "Jack Doherty getting arrested." It shows him surrounded by police. "What did he do?" a person asks in the video. A second TikTok video shows an officer verbally confronting Doherty with a string of expletives as he's arrested.
- Doherty's arrest came when Miami Beach Police took him into custody "outside a smoke shop," according to TMZ, which reported that he was "booked into Florida's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center just before 9 a.m. (November 15) on three charges -- possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest."
- Jail records in Miami-Dade County, accessed by Complex, show he was booked under the name of Jack Cashin Doherty on those potential charges. According to Local10, one of the charges is a felony.
- A mugshot is included on the website. His booking time is listed as 8:48 a.m. on November 15, and the page says that bond was submitted. Men's Journal has contacted Miami Beach police for addition details through their public information office.
According to TMZ, police are accusing Doherty of being "in possession of Amphetamine -- a medication used to manage ADHD and narcolepsy -- and less than 20 grams of weed." Doherty streamed on Parti before his arrest, sharing footage from a yacht, TMZ reported.

A second TikTok video shows police cuffing Doherty, who then pulls out a cell phone, smiling. "Go on the sidewalk now," an officer tells a bystanders as police cuff Doherty, whose hands are behind his back at that point.
Be forewarned that the video contains explicit language. "Who the (expletive) do you think you are, bro?" a police officer says to Doherty in the video.
"I was trying to walk in the street," Doherty says. "You want to be (expletive) funny," the cop says. "Who the (expletive) are you bro?" the officer says at another point. At that point, the officers lead Doherty to a squad car.

Doherty has more than 15 million subscribers to his YouTube page. His videos range from "I moved into my dream house" to "a stranger crashed by Tesla!" Doherty has 2.8 million followers on Instagram. He also has a massive following on TikTok. He is only 22 years old.
According to Local10, "prosecutors filed a case on Saturday afternoon listing the Miami Beach Police Department as the arresting agency and Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Carlos Gamez as presiding."
Doherty's net worth is generally listed at about $1 million.
Fans had mixed reactions on the TikTok video comment thread. "He’s wrong yes but who do these cops think they are," wrote one person. "The police need a raise for doing this," countered another.
"His security should quit his job and find another opportunity," wrote another fan. "Justice for Jack. Free him," another person wrote.
