Isaac TeSlaa was born to be a Detroit Lion. He was also born to drive a Ford, never mind the last name.
The rookie wide receiver got one of the biggest surprises of his life when Ford approached him over the weekend and gifted him a brand-new Ford F-150 Lightning, which can famously serve as a backup generator to your house for three full days during a power outage, or as much as up to 10 days if you ration that power.
According to Ford, the American car company offered the gesture after TeSlaa's two jaw-dropping, one-handed catches during his first two NFL games. The company says it "knew the only way to celebrate was by getting TeSlaa's hands on something equally as charged as his debut."

"I was thrilled when Ford approached me. Growing up, I always dreamed of playing at Ford Field, and now that I'm in the league, it feels full circle," said the rookie out of Arkansas in a statement to Men's Journal. "I've been a Ford fan my whole life, and I'm excited to be driving my new F-150 Lightning. I'm excited to keep chasing this dream and see where it takes me."

After gifting him the F-150 Lightning, TeSlaa pulled up to Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, with his new truck, "proudly declaring his electric season continues in an electric Ford truck."
On his Instagram, TeSlaa doubled down and declared he's "TeSlaa by name. @FordElectric by choice ⚡."
