A store in La Puente, California, was robbed of its entire stock of Labubu toys, totaling more than $7,000 in lost damages. One Stop Sales posted surveillance footage of a break-in that occurred at their store in the early morning hours of August 6.
Labubus, plush keychains made by Pop Mart, have become incredibly popular amongst both children and adults in recent months. The trendy toy retails for around $28, but can be difficult to find before stores sell out. Consequentially, an online resale market has Labubus going for hundreds of dollars each.
The Los Angeles area store One Stop Sales shared security footage of four men breaking into the store and taking dozens of boxes and merchandise out through the way they came. One suspect is seen on footage without a mask or face covering.

"Today we got robbed at 1:30 a.m.," One Stop Sales writes in its post. "They took all our inventory, trashed our place!" Co-owner Joanna Avendano told KABC News that around $30,000 of merchandise was taken total, including around $7,000 worth of Labubus alone.
Since the break in on Wednesday morning, Avendano posted an update that the local sheriff's department had recovered some of the stolen goods. The One Stop Sales Instagram account posted a photo of Avendado with members of the City of Industry Sheriff's Department.

"Case is still under investigation, right now no further comment," the post reads, "will be updating if they find more of our items!"
