Elated Eagles fans turned celebration into chaos in Philadelphia last night after the city’s team trampled the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, beating the team 40–22.
Wild videos circulated across social media show the chaotic scenes unfolding across the city long into the evening as fans showed their adoration for the City of Brotherly Love. One clip posted to X by @ScooterCasterNY shows a group of fans toppling a street light before angrily stomping it into oblivion in a celebratory haze.

On X, journalist Kyle Mazza reported that “Philadelphia Eagles fans [have] set fires and take[n] down traffic signals as they celebrate in the streets in downtown Philadelphia.” He accompanied the statement with several photos showing the unbelievable scene.

One user, posting several images of the terrifying “celebrations,” succinctly summed up the situation: “What should have been a night of celebration turned into scenes of chaos as Philadelphia Eagles fans took to the streets in an uncontrolled, alcohol-fueled frenzy following their team's Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.”
Neither the NFL, nor the Eagles or the city of Philadelphia, has responded to the incident.
