One lucky Paige Spiranac fan got to meet the former pro golfer at a recent event, and walked away with a souvenir that he won't soon forget. That is, because it's now permanently tattooed on his body.

The event took place at X-Golf in Los Angeles, a state-of-the-art indoor golfing facility that Spiranac serves as an ambassador for. "X-Golf technology is the best I’ve used and the venues are so much fun!" the 31-year-old says of the company, which boasts over 125 locations across the United States.

Suffice to say, the fan in question definitely seemed to have fun when meeting the newly-minted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. "Met Tony at an X-Golf event where he asked me to sign his arm," Spiranac captioned a social media post on Monday. "An hour later he comes back with it tattooed on him!"

In the accompanying photo, Spiranac—clad in a figure-hugging brown knit dress—posted alongside the beaming fan who proudly showed off the new ink on his inner left bicep. Though, given the sleeve on his other arm, it's clear that this isn't Tony's first rodeo when it comes to getting tattooed.

But despite Tony's apparently dedication, not everyone was impressed with his new tattoo. "Lol, when you try too hard," commented one user, while another added, "Things men will do to try to…" One commenter noted that Tony might have trouble explaining that to a future wife. At least the X-Golf account wasn't unkind, posting simply: "Well, at least Tony will never forget that day," alongside a laugh-cry emoji.

Spiranac, who famously cut her professional golf career abruptly short, has found no shortage of success after making the transition to golf influencer. She recently explained that she wasn't cut out for the sport because she'd much rather practice than compete.

"There are two types of people in this world: people who love to practice and the people who love to play and compete. I am in that first group," she explained in an Instagram story last month. "I love practicing. There is nothing more that I enjoy than going to the range for hours and just beating golf balls, chipping, putting. I live for that, and I've always enjoyed that, and I never really enjoyed competing and playing."

Not to mention, this way she also gets to meet some interesting characters, to boot.
