Memorial Day was host to major shoe sales from brands like Merrell and Cole Haan, which offered shoppers an early opportunity to pick up comfortable and stylish gifts ahead of Father's Day. If the dad in your life is more into running, the good news is that Brooks has gone live with its summer sale early this year and is offering shoppers up to 50% off some of its best running shoes and more.
Everything from the brand-champion Ghost 15 to the marathon-ready Hyperion Elite 3 is on sale at Brooks right now. Several of the brand's Go-to-Support (GTS) styles are discounted, including the Glycerin GTS 20 and the Launch GTS 10, and a few sizes are still available in the ever-popular Adrenaline GTS 22. Select trail running shoes, like the Divide 4, are also on sale for as low as $80. After Men's Journal browsed through the deals during Brooks' summer sale, we found four styles that are a must-check-out for avid runners, daily walkers, and regular racers.
Brooks Ghost 15 in Black/Blackened Pearl/Blue, $100 (was $140) at Brooks
The Ghost is probably Brooks' most consistently sought-after running shoe because of its guaranteed comfort, balanced design, and vast color options. This sneaker features a 12mm heel-to-toe drop, which is steep but beneficial in promoting natural forward motion. It's a fantastic shoe for neutral foot types, whether running or walking, and it is poised to provide long-lasting comfort thanks to its thick but lightweight foam midsole. This shoe has also earned a certification from the American Podiatric Medical Society (APMA) as a style recognized to promote good health in feet. It's available in sizes 7 to 15 with occasional options for narrow, wide, and extra wide, and comes in over 20 colors.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "The most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever worn! They’re light, fit perfectly, and look awesome. After years of hating running, I ran with joy on my very first run in this new pair! It’s definitely a key to keeping my habit of exercising more often."

Brooks Glycerin GTS 20 in Blue Depths/Palace Blue/Orange, $100 (was $160) at Brooks
With the Adrenaline GTS 22 now mostly sold out, it's worth taking a shot on the stability version of the Glycerin. The Glycerin GTS 20 is also designed with Brooks' GuideRails system, designed to support the natural strike position of pronators while providing impact relief for the feet and joints. It's a fantastic option for daily running and walking and comes with a ton of cushioning. It's on sale right now in two great colors and is still available in sizes 7.5 to 15.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "I suffer from flat feet, which also affects my knees and ankles. At times it’s debilitating, where I have to basically rest for two to four days. With these shoes, those problems have disappeared. I can now walk like I used to (4-plus miles a day) and return home pain-free in the evenings…The cushioning in these shoes is like no other and the GuideRails system really keeps my foot from overpronating."

Brooks Trace 2 in Peacoat/Grey/Red, $75 (was $100) at Brooks
The Trace is one of Brooks' more affordable running shoes, but that doesn't mean it's any less effective. Like the Ghost, it also has a 12mm heel-to-toe drop, but this shoe has a slightly lower stack height and a little less bounce. Not only does that make it lighter, weighing just 8.6 ounces, but it also means you'll be able to feel the surface on which you're running a little bit better. Brooks recommends this as the best shoe for new runners or as an everyday walking shoe. It's on sale in navy in sizes 8 to 15.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "I'm not a runner, but it's a rare day I don't walk 5 miles and I've been a fan of the Brooks brand for my last half dozen pairs now, which tend to last about 18 months per pair. The fit has been good, the comfort and durability are excellent and a little nice styling is icing on the cake."

Brooks Hyperion Max in Fiery Coral/Orange Pop/Blue, $110 (was $170) at Brooks
The Hyperion Max is a comparatively newer design from Brooks, but it's been turning heads thanks to its massive stack height, low weight, and tremendous impact absorption. This is a great option for those who like to go fast during races or when running drills because it has a special type of foam cushioning that drops the overall weight to just 7.8 ounces—less than the Trace 2. It features sharp upturned rolls both at the toe and the heel, which make propulsion and transitions fantastically easy alongside a rubberized sole that's ready to fight abrasion. It's one of the better deals during Brooks' summer sale and is still available in sizes 7 to 15 with eight colors to choose from.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "Love these for 10-plus mile runs. Super snappy, I actually have to hold myself back from running too fast. Fast paces feel that easy. Legs don't feel shredded after 14 to 15-mile runs, which is great."
