The cast of Suits reunited at last night’s Golden Globes to present the award for best television drama, and teased the possibility of reuniting for a spinoff. Though USA’s NYC-set legal drama hasn’t aired new episodes for nearly five years, Suits saw a major bump in popularity over the summer when it passed 45 billion combined minutes of viewing across Netflix and Peacock.

Suits starred Patrick J. Adams as Mike, a college dropout with a photographic memory who cons his way into a job with a powerful attorney (Gabriel Macht). On Sunday, Adams and Macht walked the red carpet together before heading inside to present one of the biggest awards of the night, alongside fellow co-stars Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty. Before the ceremony, Adams dropped some exclusive info about the recently announced Suits spinoff, to be set in Los Angeles.

“We found out about—well, it’s not a revival—but a Suits spinoff,” Adams explained to ET during Variety’s Golden Globes Pre-Show. “I think it’s all in early stages. But what did they say? It’s a show in the Suits universe. Like a Suits L.A.

Adams continued: “I think it’s all in early stages…Our fearless showrunner Aaron [Korsh is] working on that. If I got the phone call, I’d be ready to suit up again. I loved the show, I loved the character and I loved working with all these people.”

Prior to its gangbusters summer on the streaming charts, Suits was best known for starring a pre-Royal Family Meghan Markle as paralegal Rachel, who worked closely alongside Mike before both actors left following season seven. Though she’s since gone on to pursue more serious-minded philanthropic opportunities, Adams didn’t rule out Markle’s return to the series.

“Sure, Mike and Rachel in Seattle, they gotta come down to L.A. and fix some stuff,” Adams jested good-naturedly when quizzed about Markle’s potential role.

Though she seemingly retired from acting several years ago, her return to Suits may not be as unlikely as it once was. Markle spoke with Variety in November about her enduring love for the series, saying how “wild” it is that new fans continue to discover the show so many years later.

“It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time,” she said. “I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit. But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

It’s unclear at this point what the plot of the Suits spinoff will be, but a source told Variety last year that Suits L.A. would not be the final title. Suits aired on the USA Network from 2011 until 2019. In addition to those above, the show also starred Rick Hoffman (Thanksgiving) and Abigail Spencer (Grey’s Anatomy). Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up) joined the show in later seasons after Adams and Markle departed.
